Weather/Water Conditions in the Smokies:
I don't know what else you could ask for in terms of good fishing conditions that
don't exist right now. The water temperature has risen, the stream levels have
dropped down near normal, aquatic insects are hatching in good numbers, and the
weather is wonderful. A couple of anglers I talked to yesterday were catching a few
trout. Two guys I talked to were fishless. It was obvious as to why they hadn't caught
anything. If you fish the hatches correctly, you should be catching a lot of trout.

I finally got around to adding one of the best streams in Pennsylvania to our
"Perfect Fly" Streams Section - Fishing Creek.

New Perfect Fly Leaders and Tippet:

Tapered Leaders and Tippet material this week. I know that from email
comments and the telephone conversations I had with some of you. I just wanted to
say that we appreciate it very much. I challenge anyone to compare our leader's
performance to the product of any major manufacturer that sells leaders or tippet
