Fly Fishing DVD - Part 21
"Fly Fishing Yellowstone National Park" was our second instructional fly fishing DVD produced on a fishing
destination. The popularity of "Fly Fishing Great Smoky Mountains National Park" DVD set made it clear
anglers would make use of destination programs if they included information on the streams, methods of
fishing, techniques and strategies for fly fishing the area as opposed to just watching someone's fishing trip
on video.

Angie and I had spent a lot of time fishing the streams of Yellowstone National Park prior to the time we
decided  to produce the program. We had fished Yellowstone during every month of the season. We had
made trips there every year except one during a nine year span. Actually, we had made more than one trip
there during several of those years, but from other destinations in western states. We fished anywhere from
ten days up to a month and a half on each trip. Alt together, we had fished inside Yellowstone National Park a
total of over 200 days. We had fished every major stream of the park and many of the smaller, little known
streams. All we had to do was make another trip for purposes of doing introductions to the program and
obtaining a few more generic shots we needed. We made another two week trip there to accomplish that.

Like our Smoky Mountain National Park DVD, the length of the video needed to be close to (4) four hours
long to cover the all the necessary things anglers should know prior to making a trip to Yellowstone. That
would require a (2) two DVD disc program.
